Having trouble breathing. Unable to sleep as a result for two consecutive nights, I checked into the hospital.
The emergency room waiting area was the real experience of the night. Lots of sick hurt people there. They medical staff were very nice. Had my chest X-Ray. No pnuemonia, no cancer. Had blood tests. No flu, no HIV. Diagnosis - Bacterial infection. Treatment - Respiratory treatments, IV fluids, pain medication, antibiotics, anti-inflamatory medication. At home now I feel better now... Until I get the bill. |

uh okay. I'm sorry, but point being? Well, I suppose there's a bunch that can be discussed here. Like ummmm...how expensive medical bills get, what it's like being in an emergency room, maybe people can share their encounters with the Emergency Room and such and such and such. ![]() |
