I found out why it wasn't working, Firefox does not recognise bgsound, it's not xhtml and has little compatibility.
EMBED would have been possible if the all the extra code wasn't added...not possible. OBJECT would have been ideal, I thought I was on to a winner when I came across this: CODE <object type="audio/x-mpeg" data="yoursound.mp3"> </object> BGSOUND and OBJECT could both have been added to seperate captions to allow for "fallback" html interpretation. But it turns it any OBJECT into ".." Not very useful... No idea what Opera or Safari make of any of this although I have to say, I'm not really bothered. Any thoughts? |
