I give the worst advice ever. Totally serious. I've tried to give good advice, but I always look back on it and be like "Kaycee, you really should've shut up." I am much, much, much better at letting people talk at me about their relationship problems. It's not only because I'm pretty unexperienced in that arena, but I always end up thinking "Well...this isn't true for everyone so...." and then the advice comes out all sucky and stuff.
Worst thing? It makes me feel like a terrible friend. Because I think the ability to give advice is one of the qualities that people really look for in a friend, but c'mon, what about us people who like to just sit there and tell them everything's going to be okay? |

That whole communication bit is so true.
I'm not so great at advice myself, unless it's something I really relate to. Usually, I listen to my friends problems and whatnot but when it comes to advice...its tough. |
