problems hiding details, heroes, status, etc. Options

when i put in this code

and then the other code that goes into the heroes section

the "hidethem" part ALWAYS shows up as three dots.
anyone know why?

I had to take all other codes out of the heroes box in order to get a tiny box to disappear that was still left over after I updated the code. I take it it's necessary to have the code be alone in the Heroes box? Maybe I am wrong.
