I find stereotyping really annoying. I know that alot of people do it and sometimes we do it to ourselves lol. Even though some people might think its ok but other people might get offended to it. Not everyone is the same...
What do you think? |

I get sad when I think about stereotyping. Like people have said before me, I think everyone does it, because it's just natural for people to do. I try not to judge people untill I talk to them, but you only get one chance to make a first impression on someone.
Generally, people begin judging without realizing it when they first see someone new. I've been stereotyped MANY times because of the activities I'm involved in. IE: Marching Band you don't know HOW many times I hear "One time.....at band camp...." when they find out I'm in marching band. I'm like "GOD! you'd think I haven't heard that a million times!" A lot of people think I'm some sort of nerd/freak because I'm in band. It happens to the best of us...we just need to ignore it and try not to stereotype. It's hard, but it's not impossible. |
