Not all of the fetus' illnesses that occur during a pregnancy can be detected during the first 2 trimesters. Furthermore, in those cases where an abortion is required during the last trimester (such as a fetus suffering from hydrocephalus), ID&X is the less intrusive abortive procedure, therefore it can be the safest.
Ultimately it should be a medical decision whether it is necessary to perform it or not. I don't trust Morality's clinic eye, it is rather myopic. |
