Growing up, there were two restaurants that my family and I would go to: a pho restaurant five minutes away and Hometown Buffet. Really special occasions would call for this Chinese restaurant eight minutes away. (Srsly.) Yeah, we'd go on vacations, but I was really comfortable with the small, small world my mother had made for me.

Then my friends started driving, and call me naive, but sheesh the world was a helluva bigger. No, I'm totally serious. I was surprised. Like "LOOK AT THE POSSIBILTIES!!!!!!!" surprised. There's something about driving, or maybe just growing up, that expands the world so much futher than I'd ever pictured it'd be.

Definitely. _smile.gif I mean, I've been a lot of places when I was little, but being older now, I do tend to travel more.
And its awesome how different some states can be compared to where I live.
