QUOTE
The justices, voting 5-4, said the 2003 Partial Birth Abortion Ban Act is constitutional even though it lacks an exception for cases posing a risk to the mother's health.

Victory what?

It doesn't make too much sense to ban a medical procedure that saves lifes because of purely moral reasons. I would understand a tighter regulation of D&X abortions since they are a dangerous procedure, but a ban of this order is plain nucking futty.

how are D&X abortions dangerous? nvm

yeah. i don't see why the ban won't exclude mothers whose health is at risk. partial birth isn't a pretty procedure. the fetus is removed out of the womb before being killed. hence, "partial birth". damn... south dakota was also a blow to pro choice people.
