I must say when I read that topic title I was a bit worried about what I'd see, but I think it's nicely done. I haven't commented on a layout in a long time (dialup makes profiles take a long time to load)
I think it's nicely put together. Since it's simple, I think doing a more complex navigation system would add some spice. The links are over on the colored lines on the left. Also, I think the comments and comment box could've fit better in the space. The box is a bit of an odd shape and the comments seem really scrunched it. I do love the colors that you chose to use; it looks like you really thought about it before putting it together
