I decided that I need a makeover for how to do my hair, clothes, face (make up), etc. Well, right now...I look kind of plain and I just want to get a lot girlier.
Right now, I have long, straight Asian hair and I was thinking of getting a perm. I wanted to get loose curls with side bangs. I have a narrow face, so I thought that the volume would balance it out. As for my clothes, I used to wear tops and jeans that were really unflattering. I found out that aeropostale have good prices for clothes that are more fitted. So overall, I think that the hair and clothes is taken care of. I just really need tips on my face. I have tons of acne & acne scars (curse those crazy hormones) and back then, I didn't really try to cover them up or anything. Recently, I have tried to cover them up with Bare Minerals from my mom and it matches with my skin tone..but the acne scars are still noticable and the acne are seen as bumps. If I put on too much of the Bare Minerals to make the scars unnoticable, then the makeup becomes cakey. You see what I mean? Once I solve my acne problem, then I'll start to put on blush to enhance my make up routine. So I put alot of thought into this "transformation" but I mainly need help on my skin problem I guess. If you have any hair, makeup, skin tips/suggestions, please share. :] |

Try using Neutrogena face wash. I have eczema and because I'm in the U.S., I can't see my dermatologist on a regular basis, since my family lives in Hong Kong/Taiwan. So, he recommended Neutrogena to me. It's not too strong, but also good for the face.
For me, Maybelline concealer (the kind that comes in the lipstick tubes) works really well. I only use a minimal amount, and it works wonders. And also, add a bit of foundation on to it. Personally, I recommend MAC, but if you don't want something too expensive, L'Oreal Infallible is amazing as well. Charlotte Russe is a cute place to shop at as well. But, personally, I love going thrift shopping or consignment stores. |
