my parents were gone this week, and while they were gone, our furnace stopped working - and though our neighbor got it on again, it dropped to 38 degrees in our house. while i was at school on thursday, our water line broke and flooded the basement. not really standing water, but the carpet and pad underneath were completely saturated. three rooms in our basement have now been torn apart - floors are out, and part of the ceiling. it's pretty bad, and really made my weekend suck. has this ever happened to anyone else?

=[ it happened yesterday. it was raining a lotttt and when my dad opened our garage door, there was water like everywhere
 well we have this TINY sewer thing that.. takes all the water in; it was working fine until it started overflowing and the water kept coming back up. well, since 5:00PM yesterday, we've been taking the water from the "sewer" in and out.. it won't stop overflowing  its 10:43AM and we're still trying to stop the water.. ugh. part of our carpet is wet, and no matter how hard we try, it wont get dry..
