do kids these days still dream of being an astronaut? cause i think everyone in my generation wanted to be an astronaut at some point. except for one kid. he wanted to be a ninja turtle. but most kids wanted to be astronauts. i held onto that dream a little longer than most people. but i think they don't let you fly planes in the airforce if you don't have perfect vision.

Not too many kids these days (at least that I know) mention becoming an astronaut as an ambition.
As for flying in the Air Force, you've got to have at least close to perfect vision and you can't be color blind. I've heard that you can't wear glasses because they'd shatter from the G's. You can't wear contacts because they'd melt into your eyes from the G's. And you can't have eye surgery because your eye would explode from the G's. Dang son. |
