I do not know if this is the right forum for this or if anyone can help me but I am trying to sync my songs on my MP3 player and can't do it. It's an office depot brand OD-128MP3W . Anyway, windows media reads the device but when I tried to sync the songs using wndows media 11 on XP I receive an error message that says wndows media player cannot find the file. If you are trying to play, burn, or sync an item that is in your library, the item might point to a file that has been moved, renamed, or deleted. The player does not come with any instructions, but software for windows 98; any help is appreciated.

Well, the error means that WMP can't find one of your music files. Have you moved any songs around your folders around lately?
You can right-click and click on 'Locate file' or something like that, and then locate the song that WMP can't find.

To answer you question, I have not moved my files around. I will try what you said; thanks for your help.
