Hey guys.
So my school is having an election next week and I want to run for Vice President. The thing is, I'm trying to come up with a catchy way for people to think fondly of me when it comes to voting! We're allowed 4 days to campaign and put posters up and what not, so I wanted some ideas for anything. I'll give you some info that you can maybe draw from: -My first name is Nora, last name Swenson. -Some people call me "Snorey" as a nickname. -I'm a Junior/11th grader. -Um, I have blond hair and blue eyes? I don't know if that could help. I'm not sure what else you might want to know, but ask me and I'll write back. Thanks! |

whatever you decide for your posters, make sure people will see them; post them in public areas, so people actually know you are running for vp. most people will just walk by the posters so don't write like 23942304 things on it- just write something like, VOTE NORA SWENSON FOR VP!" be direct and to the point.
make sure your speech shows that you are responsible and demonstrates maturity, instead of being an "uhh... i'm uh... going to be a great vp if you vote me!!!!!!!!1" speech. speeches are huge! then there's another thing that really influences elections at my school- your personality. if people don't like the type of person you are- like if you're one of those people who get wasted every weekend or get really mean, then they're probably not going to vote for you, regardless of your campaign. this, you can't really change in a week, but it's something to keep in mind. |
