For the longest time I've wanted to become a vegetarian, and for a while I was, but it didn't work out because I wasn't getting the protein I needed because I can't cook and my parents did not support me at all. They said they knew I wouldn't last and that it was "too hard" to make vegetarian meals. It's healthier! I don't understand why the whole family can't go for it. You can use TVP to make spaghetti sauce, and it tastes EXACTLY the same as regular beef. Does anybody have any suggestions about how I can be vegetarian, even with a family that won't make vege meals?

I don't agree with them on saying it's be too hard to make the meals, but I have to ask, how old are you? My only concern might be that you aren't getting the right amount of nutrition that you should. Like protein, certain vitamins & minerals, healthy fats, carbs, whatever you could possibly name. You're still growing, physically and mentally. You'd be missing out on a LOT of the stuff that is already in certain foods that you're completely taking out of your diet.
