For the longest time I've wanted to become a vegetarian, and for a while I was, but it didn't work out because I wasn't getting the protein I needed because I can't cook and my parents did not support me at all. They said they knew I wouldn't last and that it was "too hard" to make vegetarian meals. It's healthier! I don't understand why the whole family can't go for it. You can use TVP to make spaghetti sauce, and it tastes EXACTLY the same as regular beef. Does anybody have any suggestions about how I can be vegetarian, even with a family that won't make vege meals?

You can search the internet too for some good recipes. I have a friend who is Vegan, which in my opinion is much harder than being a vegetarian. He doesn't eat anything processed, and is more of a raw foodie. He didn't know how to good either, but he learned over time. Some of the food he makes is really good. He dehyrates stuff in order to make chips and they are really good. It's always hard to make life changes without support, but if you show your family that you're really serious about this... they'll become serious about it too.
