i am a junior and i haven't taken the SAT yet at all and since college board has extended the registration date for the one may 5th i was thinking of taking it. but i haven't done anything to prepare for it at all, like i pretty much don't know anything. should i still take it? i need to take it obviously.
and how long will it take to get results back? would it be in enough time to know what i need to work on before the one june 2nd? |

The best class you can take for SAT's is Testmasters. It's kind of expensive, but if you sign up with a friend, it's definately worth it.
If you don't have time to take a test, Princeton Review's the best book (imo). The class and that book raised my score from a 1860 to a 2240. In your case, I'd sign up for both tests because the key to the SAT's is repetition. After the first time you take it, May 5, you'll kind of get how it goes, study what parts you didn't get to finish, etc, then take it again in June 2. It took collegeboard about 2-3 weeks to send me back my grades, so I wouldn't count on them. |
