i didnt even know the launch was that bad now if you say thats a good lineup then.... maybe we are COMPLETELY different. the only good game was twilight princess which was available for gamecube and marvel ultimate alliance which was available for all the other systems. raving rabbids was mediocre. the rest were cheap movie based half assed games. the ones that were multi plats, got better scores on the other sytems, look it up. quality is better than quantity.

now 360 and ps3 have far better reviewed titles. on 360: project gotham 3,quake 4,call of duty 2, Kameo and Perfect Dark Zero were all highly reviewed titles, even condenmed and king kong were well reviewed. ps3 had: resistance, a very highly reviewed launch title that already has a triple A status. fight night round 3 very highly reviewed. Tony hawks project 8 well reviewed, and carbon and ridge racer were well reviewed also.....so im failing to see how the hell the wii had a better launch lineup. the games are right there, so how the hell?

okay, this is getting f**king redundant. let me break down for the fourth f**king time. by you placing me in a different category of gaming, you erased any type of
credibility i had. as if i havent played nintendo's games or something. i responded saying hey, i did play those games, infact i owned those systems. so dont label me as the kinda guy that thinks those games are kiddy or something and "afraid that my dck will fall off if i play mario" simple as that. if i were to brag about something it'd be the fact that i own a ps3 and 360 AND a high end pc. not old ass stuff.

i didnt say it was going to end in 2008, antho did. dont bring up any of his arguments with me anymore, bring it up with him.

i loved all nintendo systems all the way until the gamecube. the gamecube didnt have enough software. or enough good software, they basically released one AAA game a year. smash bros, metroid,mario sunshine, zelda windwaker, and zelda TP. thats basically all the gamecube had. they never made another smashbros after melee, they didnt release another zelda until the end of its days, 2 metroids? and one real mario. and imo the only great one is zelda. nintendo started sticking with the same software and not gaining anything else, they couldnt get the multiplats that ps2 and xbox would get. last generation, everybody knows the gamecube didnt do as well as it should have. last generation was its weakest. and these 2 newer consoles left a bigger impression. and in that sense, nintendo lost. yeah i found some nintendo games enjoyable, every system better have its enjoyable games. but then nintendo got competition, and then i found games i thought to be even more enjoyable, on other consoles, especially ps2. which offered me many more great titles for many more genres. and this left the nintendo games feeling alittle dry in comparison.

honestly, this generation is even worse imo. you got a system, the system only has these games to look forward to: zelda, mario,smash bros, and metroid. the same games, no new titles. at least gamecube got some 3rd party games that ps2 and xbox got, but now it seems they are getting shunned. i mean for example, didnt nintendo always get resident evil first? now they dont even get RE5 they have to get a totally different game to fit the system. and if a developer came and asked the wii owners, "hey do you want RE5 or umbrella chronicles?" they wouldnt hesitate to take RE5 instead. for the multi plats, all the buzz is around the games like assasins creed or dark Sector, Devil May Cry, Oblivion,RE5, rainbow 6 vegas etc. and for damn good reason. not because they are just "cool" but because they are and look to be damn good games.

if i had a wii i wouldnt even be able to look forward to those titles. the games that are out that i named are fantastic, and the ones coming out look incredible.and the wii titles i would have to look forward to kind of pale in comparison. theres nothing that makes me go "oh i gotta have that". maybe you think katamari looks a little bit better than Mgs4 or BioShock.
but personally i have to think you are insane, im sure ill find plenty that agree. katamari is decent and all, but i dont take it THAT seriously. the people in the gaming community that play games like Halo out weigh the people that play katamari instead i guarantee. therefore i dont see the wii lasting. it seems like the gamecube all over again, but with less games. and a wiimote. they need more 3rd party developers. just like last generation. it'd be different if the games were good that are out now, but they suck man. with the exception of TP. no game utilized all the aspects of the wiimote, and no game was good. everybody thought excite truck was gonna be "sick" look how that turned out. i couldnt hear enough of how red steel was gonna "own", now look at it. raving rabbids was gonna be a "blast", mediocre. this wouldnt sit well with me if i was a wii owner or thinking about buying a wii. because after i beat twilight princess it'd be like "now what?"

dude the difference isnt staggering at ALL. considering i OWNED RE4 for gamecube AND ps2 because i wanted to play separate ways and get new guns. i think i know if the difference was staggering. despite all the technical polygon counts and shit, they must have hid it pretty damn well because i can tell you exactly what looked more detailed in the gamecube version. the hair, and wall textures. thats f**king IT. thats all the untrained eye can see.

"our focus isnt power" my ass reggie. then why not just add the damn wiimote to the cube, might as well. and if you've been focusing on only the wiimote these past years, then thats...pretty bad. because that means the mote should be f**king amazing.

if you watched any kind of review or demo of tp you would here the player say "as you can see, on the wii shooting arrows on horse back is now a breeze". but your stretching the horse back thing out too far. i was basically getting at all the thing did was make things easier. which isnt necessarily more fun though. i mean it made obvious things more fun, because fishing and shooting bows will obviously be more fun on the wiimote. but as a whole
it really wanst that big of a deal.


so because the wiimote didnt make the game significantly more enjoyable than a controller, doesnt their whole system kinda fail? i played tp on the wii after i already beat it, and i feel i didnt miss out on a whole new gaming experience. so if the controller aint that great it really has no purpose does it? too bad its basically the whole system.
