Earlier this month, I had sex for the first time. I'm only 15...
I understand a lot of you now may think lower of me, and I don't blame you. I vowed never to be the person that lost her virginity at such a tender age. But I was honestly pressured. But I gave in, and I take full responsibilty for my mistakes. I'm in love with my boyfriend, I really am, and some of you may say "Well you're too young to even begin to know what love really is." But shall you have it, I am. The point is, we used protection, but I'm scared that even though it stayed on, I may have somehow gotten semen in me. I'm disappointed with my actions and I plan on telling my boyfriend that I no longer want to continue in these activites until I am older and more mature. I have decided I will not have sex again until I am married. It just seems like a smarter decision. My periods are irregular. I had sex on the 2nd of this month (March). Lately, my periods have been coming around 20-24 days. Not the usual 28 day cycle. And I still haven't gotten it. I'm scared beyond belief... I can't even begin to tell you how worried I am. How effective as condoms? What are the chances I am pregnant? ..........And what about the symtoms of pregnancy? I would glady get a pregnancy test but I wouldn't want my mother to find out I was sexually active. It would hurt her. =/ And again, I take the consequences to my actions. THANK YOU!! |

Beautiful Disaster x, forgive my French, but don't listen to what the @$$holes are saying. Comments like "its called DONT HAVE SEX" are entirely inappropriate. For one thing, it's your life. You may be fifteen, but you realize that what did was a mistake. And the morality behind having sex so young is completely a matter of opinion.
For another thing, you mention getting looked down on for it. I have to admit, when I read the subject of this topic I was thinking "oh no, what has this girl done?" but you display an amazing amount of intelligence 1) in realizing and admitting your belief it was a mistake and 2) by vowing not to do it again until you're ready/married. Like numerous others, I don't believe you're pregnant. It may be stress, it may be anxiety, it may be any number of things. Don't sweat it. If you wait a few weeks and you still haven't had your period, just stay calm and have a friend drive you down to the drugstore. Or, I would recommend talking to one of your teachers about it. I don't know how you feel about them, but there was always one teacher I could talk to. They're experienced with these kinds of things, trust me. And I'm sure they would know how responsible and smart you are, so you needn't worry about being reprimanded or lectured about it if you admit it was a mistake. I hope everything works out for you, and I really respect you for the maturity you've shown. |
