So...does anyone know of a really good PHP tutorial? I use get-hosting.net and it has php so that means I dont need to download anything right? I want my header and side bar to be the php part...so...how do I go about doing that? Anyone know? My link is http://ATOMICxKISS.net

did you use notepad? cause i will save it as something.php and it changes it to something.php.txt and its a text document...am i misunderstanding? lol im not very quick on the uptake, ive never had my own domain before

Try opening up My Documents (something most computers have on them) select Tools > Folder Options > View (tab on top) then go to the third thing after "Hidden Files and Folders". It should say "Hide extensions for known file types" and unselect that. Then when you save your file delete what windows has typed in there and save it as something.php |
