I think I'm in over my head. I'm the intern for this company, which will remain anonymous, and I love the people at my branch. Recently, like 2 months ago, some tension has been building up between my manager and I. We have both made it clear to each other that we have feelings for one another. Company policy strongly discourages an intimate relationship between managers and subordinates because it may lead to favoritism and conflict of interest. About a month ago, we all went to a branch dinner. Since my car was in the shop, he offered to drive me. The dinner went well but after, when he was driving me home, we made out. Since then, I have been seeing him regularly and we had sex about a week ago. In addition to being my boss, he is older than me and has a daughter. I have no problem with his daughter because I babysit her occasionally and she's adorable and well behaved. The part that is nagging my conscience is the fact that he is my boss and he might get fired if anyone were to find out. Advice?

Your post reminds me a lot of this topic. I don't think you should continue seeing each other since you're not supposed to fraternize with the manager. However, if you really like him and want to keep seeing him, I suppose you could quit your job and find a new one. That'd be giving up a lot, though, and you really like the people you work with. =/
