where do you get waxed? is it at a salon or do you do it at home? waxing should eliminate the problem of ingrown hairs because it pulls the entire root out. red bumps and irritation is normal since it's a very aggravating experience, especially if you have sensivite skin. if you do it a home, you maybe doing it wrong (i.e., pullling it out the wrong way). the skin is much more sensitive and the hair is much coarser at your pubic area; so even if it's okay every where else, the wax can effect your pubic area differently. try a sensitive skin solution or take a really warm shower to open the pores. if it's at a salon, it might be because they aren't as clean as they should be. try a different salon and see what happens. take good care post waxing by buying a after-wax treatment. it moisturizes the skin and nourishes it so it prevents irritation and ingrown hairs. http://www.sallyhansen.com/bd/5034_zero_bumps.cfm |
