you know what i hate? when a guy lies to you. its the worst thing a guy can do. i was texting to my boyfriend and we were having this fight and i told him that i wanted to take a little break. at the same time i was talking to his best friend (whom i sorta have a thing for) and he was telling me that my boyfriend was crying and just giving me updates. after a while i was telling my boyfriend's best friend that i sorta had a thing for someone else. after a few hours of this my boyfriend finally texted me saying "i have a confession. it was really me on (his best friend)'s phone." i got so pissed and just stopped talking to him. he lied to me because i even asked "is this really (his best friend)? it doesn't really sound like you." so he lied. big time. that is not right. what should i do?

i think it's understandable you'd be angry at your bf for going behind your back like that... but then again, you told his best friend you liked another guy before you told your own boyfriend. and for that, i think he has every right to be just as mad... or even more mad at you, since you told him you wanted a break and not a break-up.

you should probably apologize and assure him you would have told him the truth sometime. and then tell him it wasn't right of him to pretend to be his best friend, too. if you're into another guy, chances are you aren't going to have much chance to save the relationship... it'd probably be best to apologize/have him apologize and then make a clean break

I totally agree with that.
When people say they think they need a 'break', it really makes me mad.

queen, either break things off, or don't.
