Would you actually try to pull off editorial fashions?

For example, today this girl in my class wore this Yohji Yamomoto or Marc Jacobs type knit hat thing (it wasn't as big as those, but it was similar), and it was kind of weird... And she had a loose jersey trapeze shirt, so she had some kind of weird Parisian look going on.

Would you actually try to pull off the Balenciaga lucite heels, or the Chanel sequin hot pants?

I admired her guts and fashion-forwardness, but is it really a good idea to wear things just for the sake of fashion? Like what about practicality?

Yeah, never directly from a magazine
maybe the shirt or necklace but never the whole outfit
Plus, somethings in magazines look good on skinny,tall,etc. kind of girls ermm.gif
