Hey i was wondering how's the service, like the reception of it because my contract for my cell service is going to expire soon and i want to change to T-MOBILE..Does it work good in New York and Virginia? Please help me out, thanks.

It's ok in NY. There are a few places where it doesn't work though. In the more suburban-ish parts of the boroughs, it's not as good. If you're in a place like Flushing or Jamaica or Manhattan, it's pretty good.
If you're getting the Fav 5 thing, DON'T. Because it won't let you do T-Mobile to T-Mobile calling then, which really sucks. If you're planning on getting a mobile-to-mobile plan, get T-Mobile because most of the people in NYC have it. If you want better coverage, go with Cingular. But the thing is that less people have it. |

Actually they can, it's just a different MyFavs plan and you have to pay extra. ![]() Over in Boston, T-Mobile dominates. Great service around here, but many complaints about dropped calls. Their phones aren't that good looking either, unless you're buying an unlocked phone. I'd go with Cingular. ![]() I miss that carrier. ![]() |
