There are a couple of online friends that I do feel like I can be closer to and reveal more because of that barrier, not necessarily because I'll never meet them. Actually, part of me sort of wonders what that'd be like, y'know? If they act similarly online as they do irl.
It's perfectly normal to be affected by online relations, as long as you don't go all crazy-passionate-kill-someone sort of thing. The internet is a powerful thing, and even though people love the ol' "It's just the internet." thing, I don't see why people aren't allowed to care about things that go on in cyberspace. |
