Hiding Comments Options

Hey, this is my first post, and I'm fairly certain this is where it goes, but I don't know, so I think I'll try here.

I'm using a DIV layout. This one in fact: http://www.createblog.com/layouts/download.php?id=14992


I love this layout, but I have two problems.

I don't want to comments to show, and I want it to be centered. I found a script to hide just the comments, but it also hid my friends list.

And when I view the profile in FireFox, I can still see some of the original layout poking out.

Again, this is my first post, and I'm sort of new at layouts, but would this be against any sort of rules? As in editing the code? I didn't remove the credits, but again, I'm new.

Nevermind, I figured out a solution.
