Just for the record.
I started liking my boyfriend... more than four years ago, and I never really stopped. He was just the first person to stand out to me in a giant room, and... well, the first person to stand out in general. However he was always surrounded by other girls and I was just some dorky invisible seventh grader while he was flocked... We got together in 2005 when we actually had the opportunity to talk more and it's been going fine since. In my case, I didn't have to really give up, but during those couple years when I didn't get to talk to him, I just distracted myself with things like music, writing, and trying to make tons of friends (which actually worked). Since you haven't elaborated, I don't know if it's practical in your situation. I don't think it was in mine either, but I just got lucky.. |
