Disagree with me if you'd like but, I used to be a member on this site about a year ago, and I ditched my account. I did this because it seemed all this site was about was power, and posts. I got over it and came back with a new screen name. Here I am and about a year later, nothing has changed. Here is what I've thought

• There are a lot of people on here that have over 2,000 posts that are VERY VERY snobby rude, and rule breaking but since they have a lot of posts no one yells at them
• Too many people are rudely honest and the site does nothing about it. Or say things for others to laugh at. They use other members for attention. They get a one liner out of doing this. And all the site does it put them on watch. And most of the time the moderator watchers let some really rude "one liners" to past

• Why not have posts in the sandbox? It's still people contributing to the site. This just shows we're fighting for the most posts

• Rebecca has already addressed this, but I didn't really understand what you meant by the last sentence... would you clarify?
  
• There are plenty of people with high post counts who are repeatedly punished. Ask Sally, Josh, and Seon Ho, off the top of my head. But I see what you're saying; and the only thing I can really offer is that people who post a lot generally make friends, and those friends back them up. Which is something we can't really do anything about, short of saying 'don't make friends', which is obviously not what we want.
  
• Mods do their best. That's kind of what it comes down to. Again, like Rebecca said, there is a fine line between honesty/bluntness/general humour and overt and unacceptable rudeness. The latter is punished where it is seen, the first is tolerated. Obviously, everyone has varying opinions on this issue, and it can sometimes swing too far the other way, and end up punishing people too harshly, or too often. Rest assured that the mods were hired because we have god judgement, and we're doin gou rbest to excercise that. If you have any specific examples, I recomend you take it up with the individual mod via PM.
