Disagree with me if you'd like but, I used to be a member on this site about a year ago, and I ditched my account. I did this because it seemed all this site was about was power, and posts. I got over it and came back with a new screen name. Here I am and about a year later, nothing has changed. Here is what I've thought

From my understanding the post count is meant to have a corrolation with your contribution to community. Because the sandbox tends to be full of "spam" they (staff) doesn't consider posts made in there to be legit. If post counts are supposed to represent your contribution to the community then.... they probably shouldn't allow post counts to increase when people post in "sandbox". How I feel: Honstly, I could care less as to how many posts people make... once you have over 200 it doesn't matter anyways. The diffence between an individual with 10k posts and 2k posts is really slim to none, but if the want to make a big deal out of it then they probably shouldn't allow post counts in the sandbox. Well, the posts you make, the more well known you become, the more adapted you become to the cB environment, you learn the "unwritten rules as you might call them, and learn how to "survive cB". I know how you feel. You arn't the first one to say this and you certainly won't be the last. I only wish the members of this site would realize this, and try to come up with a solution. QUOTE
I think you're trying to say something else, but it's comming out wrong. I'm not sure what you're getting at. You should rephrase this or explain yourself just a bit more. |
