It's sad, but if Barack Obama wins the next presidential election, he will not be alive for very long. I'm not saying I want this, not at all. In fact I hope I'm wrong. Nothing would make me happier than to have a Black Democrat President. The problem is that he is in fact Black and there are many hate groups in America that will never stand for this and will do whatever it takes to eradicate any threat to the White Male Chauvinist. I guess Hilary will have to watch out as well, but I don't care about her.
Think about our history: Abraham Lincoln - Freed Slaves - ASSASSINATED John F. Kennedy - Help Develop the Civil Rights Act of 1964- ASSASSINATED Martin Luther King Jr. - Fought for Equality - ASSASSINATED Malcolm X - Fought for Equality - ASSASSINATED If you only want for a Black man to be in the White House, no matter how short his life is while there, then by all means vote for him. If you value the life of a Human being, please vote for Rudy Giuliani |

I never said race never has any effects on politics. It does.
He very well could be at risk for being assasinated, but I dont think he would be any more likely than a white person. Just like there are racist white people, there are black ones who are racist against whites. I dont think either one would be stupid enough this day and age to attempt to assasinate someone due to their race unless they were mentally unstable. 50 years ago it would have been ALOT easier. But today? No, I dont think so. I think any mentally sane person would realize that if they even attempted it, they'd most likely fail, and end up rotting in jail for it. The chances of someone succeeding at it are slim to nothing. Look at how many people hate Bush. Not because of his race, but for what he's done so far during his presidency. Over 60% of his own country disagrees with him, and most of the world hates him. So many people I'm sure would LOVE to kill him, but no one's been successful at getting close enough yet. And when you just look at Obama's race, I'm sure far less people are going to hate him around the world. So how would he stand a better chance than Bush of being assasinated? |
