id probably date for 2 years. then have a looong engagement. like, another 2 years or so.

I know I'm probably much older than most of the people here..but I was with my ex husband for 3 years before getting married (I was 15 when we met)..dumbest mistake of my life!
I am now with a wonderful man, we've been dating for 3 years and are now engaged and planning a wedding for August. I think it depends on the person and knowing for sure if it's right..if you ahve any doubts rather small or large..make it a long engagement..dont rush it is pretty much my stand point. |
