For the longest time I've wanted to become a vegetarian, and for a while I was, but it didn't work out because I wasn't getting the protein I needed because I can't cook and my parents did not support me at all. They said they knew I wouldn't last and that it was "too hard" to make vegetarian meals. It's healthier! I don't understand why the whole family can't go for it. You can use TVP to make spaghetti sauce, and it tastes EXACTLY the same as regular beef. Does anybody have any suggestions about how I can be vegetarian, even with a family that won't make vege meals?

You have to take protein pills for sometime..
and those make you constipated.
Honestly, eating meat is not that bad for you. I would suggest a diet of actually healthy food rather than only veggies if you're attempting to be healthier.
I am on a no fast-food or soda diet, and it has been working very well. ^_^

But if you really want to become a vegetarian, I think the only way to do it would be to ask for your family's support and show them that you really mean it. You probably should also research vegetarian recipes online and how to healthily transition from a meat-eater to a vegetarian. I think you can do it if you really want to :D
