For the longest time I've wanted to become a vegetarian, and for a while I was, but it didn't work out because I wasn't getting the protein I needed because I can't cook and my parents did not support me at all. They said they knew I wouldn't last and that it was "too hard" to make vegetarian meals. It's healthier! I don't understand why the whole family can't go for it. You can use TVP to make spaghetti sauce, and it tastes EXACTLY the same as regular beef. Does anybody have any suggestions about how I can be vegetarian, even with a family that won't make vege meals?

Vegetanarianism is not as hard as it may seem. There are many alternatives and it can open you to foods you'd never though you'd like. I am an avid fan of tofu, hummus and vegetable rolls. It all depends on how much you want to become one. Look up recipes online. Etc.
