color schemes |

i'm assuming this is the section to discuss this. But as far as nice color schemes, is there something you go by when choosing colors? Or do you randomly select colors that you think would work? It is one problem that I have with designing things from banners to layouts. Any advice you can share?

waa that first post hurt my eyes... got headache and it made it worst...
 anyway back to colors... um.. clothes...i look at sneakers which many got an array of different colors mixed into some... thats where i get my ideas from... i had a REALLY bad art teacher... and she sucked major a$$ for someone teaching art for like 'ever' sooo... i kinda have idea of the color wheel some times i randomly pic colors and pray they go well together

I use to make color palettes so I have a few on my computer that I choose from, from time to time. Also I usually take a simple brush and open up a new document and take colors I like and I think I will use that all go together and just use the brush with that one color on the document to get an idea..
