The is a fine line between being funny and being downright disrespectful. This movie crossed that line.
I kicked some guy in the back of the head for laughing at the "running of the jew scene." |

The is a fine line between being funny and being downright disrespectful. This movie crossed that line. I kicked some guy in the back of the head for laughing at the "running of the jew scene." You can not be serious? It's a comedy that is challenging our culture, and the cultures of other people: taboo things will present. You would either have to be a coward, a dolt, or an extremist to think that this film crossed any serious lines. It was a joke. Nothing about it was particularly penetrating, especially not the feigned antisemitism. And, more seriously, even if someone found humor in something you found as disrespectful, physically harming them because of such is ridiculous. You can't justify that, you just can't. If anyone crossed any lines it was you. As if it's alright to kick people, but not alright to joke about kicking people. Douche bag. |
