My school's planning an 8th grade prom, and I'm on the committee. I was just wondering,
how do you plan it? What type of music should we play? When should it end? Thanks! |

I think my 8th grade dance was themed like... A night in NYC or a night in Paris. Something like that. Semi-Formal dance. It was at my school and the cafeteria had like beverages and various foods such as cookies and was turned into this like outdoor night cafe thing. It was pretty chill I guess. Somehow they had these fake streetlights too. I forget what they did. Then in the gym there was karaoke and ping-pong going on and like a lounge with couches for people who were mad bored. Then in the auditorium (The seats weren't built into it the ground at my middle school) was the dance area with a DJ on the stage.
Meh, nothing that fancy. I think it ended at like 10:30. Maybe 11. I remember there being a policy of no limos. It was considered unfair because some people couldn't afford it and they didn't want kids getting upset. |
