Will an iPod get damaged in any way if it is constantly being checked under a metal detector? I heard that cellphones get damaged after prolong exposure to it, so I was jw if it was the same deal.

QUOTE I guess it can, but that's why airports have a little box to put your stuff in. So you're really supposed to use those, besides stuff thats in your pockets? Ahhhh CRAP. My poor ipod/cell/cd player I've been through the metal detectors at the airport like a bajilliiiooon times too. The ones at the airport in Munich, Germany are stronger than the ones we use in the US I think. Every freaking time I'm over there, a empty gum wrapper in my pocket makes the darn thing go off... so they search me. Last time it was only like 1/10 of a wrapper... I guess it went through the washing machine or something when I washed my pants. But I've never gotten stopped by the detectors here or anywhere else in Europe. Someone's lacking security. |
