*sigh* So today I went to the dentist. He numbed the left side of my mouth with the biggest needle on earth. I thought the drilling would never end!! I had my mouth open for so long that I sprained my jaw and he had to perscribe me muscle relaxents. Have you ever had a part of your body numb, foot or arm fell asleep, dental related, or otherwise?

I had foot surgery, and to get the novicane or whatever they use into your foot, they first spray it with cold stuff to kindof numb it before they stick in the INCH LONG NEEDLE THROUGH THE THICK, THICK, THICK SKIN OF YOUR FOOT, and when they actually inject the stuff, IT FREAKING BURNS LIKE CRAZY.
I usually have a very high tolerance for pain, but man, I was squeezing my mommy's hand and involuntarily screaming it hurt so bad. Just typing this makes me cringe  Also, I had to get a tooth pulled and they didn't wait long enough for the numbing stuff to... well, numb, and I. felt. everything. Wow, I've had some pretty bad experiences. |
