More than Friends w. Me? Or still stuck on his X? Options

hey everyone..

well, I really need some help on this topic. I really like this guy Brandon, (the same guy from my other topic, 3 girls and 1 guy) and I know he likes me back but the thing I'm confused on is if he still has feelings for Jessica (his ex from 3 girls and 1 guy.).

Well, here's the story that I need you guys to decide from. We had a cultural fair at our school a couple of days ago and I saw Brandon there and I shouted "Brandon" and he came over and hung out with me and my best friend Kathy. Well, when we started to walk to another booth, I turned to Brandon and said "Come hang out with us" and he simply said "Ok" and I put my arm around him and we walked to the next booth. Well, while we were walking to the next booth, he took my arm out from around him so he could hold my hand. But when we got to the booth, he let go. Well, when we were walking back from that booth, he saw Jessica and her b/f Tyler. And he left me to go talk to her, and after awhile I saw him alone again, so I took advantage of it and went up and talked to him... and the next thing I knew here comes Jessica and she stood right in the middle of us. So I just left. Is it me or is she trying to ruin my chances of ever going out with him?

There's something else I wanna tell you all about... I wrote him a note saying that if he still had feelings for Jessica that there was no way that me and him could go out... And instead of calling me and talking to me about it... guess who he calls... Jessica... But she was nice enough to tell me what he said about me... She said that he told her that if he still had feelings for her that there was no way that me and him could go out, and she also said that sometimes he says that he loves me (Brandon loves me, Missy, not Jessica) but he's just doesn't know how to show it or say it.

I understand that b.c his mom has never show him love b.c she left him when he was a little kid. But anyways. help me please if you guys can... I'm really confused!

There's something else I have to add that just recently happened... this chick Brittany (my friend) went and told Jessica that I was gonna to kick her ass if she flirted with Brandon... when I didn't even say that... and the same day I asked Brittany about that she says she didn't say anything to Jessica... then Brittany told me that Jessica told her that Brandon called her and told her that he didn't like me...

But if that was true (about him calling her and saying he didn't like me) then why would he have held my hand at the cultural fair?

May I add Jessica saw us holding hands at the fair and also may I add she still has feelings for him...
