id probably date for 2 years. then have a looong engagement. like, another 2 years or so.

It really depends on what age I end up finding the "one" I end up marrying. I put 3 years in the poll, because it sounded like a good number. Until I actually counted
 I think if I were in a relationship for 3 years and was pretty confident in it, I suppose I wouldn't mind getting engaged. I want a long engagement as well. I want to live with each other a few months or for a while before getting married and get use to living with each other and it seems when you live with someone you really get to see them for their true colors so It would be a new experience and it would really test whether we were good enough to stick through it together.
