I hear a lot of my friernds say that they have pushy parentes that expect way, way too much of them. But really, who's the one that wants the success the much? Do your parents really want more for you than you do? I would think that even if they didn't push you, you'd still want the best for yourself.
Who really, in the family, sets the standard for you? If you didn't have "pushy" parents, would you still work as hard as you do? And if you don't have "pushy" parents, have you pushed yourself to do your best? |

I would have to say my parents do, but I make it happen, they want me to major in something other than what I want, but I'm not letting that happen, if I didn't have pushy parents then I probably would be the same, but they want the same, good grades. |
