I hear a lot of my friernds say that they have pushy parentes that expect way, way too much of them. But really, who's the one that wants the success the much? Do your parents really want more for you than you do? I would think that even if they didn't push you, you'd still want the best for yourself.
Who really, in the family, sets the standard for you? If you didn't have "pushy" parents, would you still work as hard as you do? And if you don't have "pushy" parents, have you pushed yourself to do your best? |

I don't really care. Pretty lazy. Same here. My mother expects a lot from me, and half the time it's things I don't want myself. That stuff creates friction between us. As far as I am concerned, she went through her life and made decisions that she wanted, so why force them on me? Don't I have a right to make my own mind on what I want to do with my time spent on this rock? |
