Okay, Well, I wasn't sure where this would go, so I thought it'd either go in Sports or School? Feel free to move the topic if you find it necessary.
Well, I'm going to be a freshmen in Highschool next year, and I was wondering...do you need experience to try out for a sport? I want to try out for soccer, but I have no experience whatsoever. Do they usually just accept everyone? Is there anything I can do to train a little by myself, so the chances of getting in are more likely? Most people at my school have already taken a specific sport to get into that sport in highschool, so I thought I wouldn't be able to get in since I have no experience. Thankss if you can reply to this ![]() |

you dont have to have experience. i started track as a freshman and i knew nothing about it.
usually in high school, there are these teams: varsity junior varsity freshman (usually in 2 or 3 seperate freshman teams. A, B, and C team) and there is actually stuff that you can do to train yourself. doing sprints, playing with a soccer ball, going to soccer games and familiarizing the sport to yourself are all good ideas. |
