Have you ever had an incredibly ironic thing happen to you? God, I hate irony. |

I always said it was ironic that in Barnes and Nobles the Sex/Mature/Nudey books were right next to the Religion books. But I don't think that's the proper use of the word irony. And it didn't happen to me, haha.

I always said it was ironic that in Barnes and Nobles the Sex/Mature/Nudey books were right next to the Religion books. But I don't think that's the proper use of the word irony. And it didn't happen to me, haha. I experienced a similiar situation a few weeks ago. My mom and I were in the grocery store, and I saw that there was a wall of cigarettes (not as high as the ceiling though), and right next to them was a little glass case containing the stuff that helps people quit smoking (gum, patches, etc.). The glass case was locked up though. ![]() I just found it ironic that there were so many cigarettes, unlocked, and out in the open, and yet right next to 'em, the stuff to help you get healthy is locked up and small in amount comparison to the cigarettes. |
