Respect. Everybody wants it. Everybody thinks they deserve it. However, we all know that's not necessarily the case. What warrants respect here? Yes, this is a duplicate thread, but it's two years later and it's a completely different audience. What is it about certain members on createBlog that merits your respect? Their join date? Their post count? Their popularity? The quality of their posts? How they regard (or disregard) the rules? Is it because you're intimidated by or envious of them?
I've already posted my thoughts on this before and would like to see what other people say before I put them up again (because I want to read original opinions rather than "yeah, I agree," and the like). |

I respect those who's posts are original, and have good quality/substance to it- it may be long, but lack substance. I don't respect those who post just to post "yea me too." just for the heck of posting. I respect those who are respectful, nice, and open minded, not those who try to start an arguement or bashing and try to become defensive for thier "friend" when it's just making the arguement even bigger. Post count doesn't really mattter to me, it really depends on what they are saying. I also don't respect those who do not search and create duplicate topics, and post up ads (but those are usually ad bots so what are you going to do).
