Okay.. I'm wanting to put all the music I have on my ipod onto my new laptop... but I'm afraid of trashing it out. Most of my music (all mp3 files) are from limewire. Is it possible that some of the mp3 files could have viruses or spyware in them... or is that impossible? I just wanted to make sure they'd be 100% safe before putting them on my laptop.

I would suggest you switch to either BitTorrent or Frostwire. I know with Frostwire, there is still a chance of downloading an infected file, but I'm pretty sure it's less than Limewire.
Limewire completely destroyed my other computer. X_x |

I downloaded a song file originally from a torrent site and that may have been the cause of my computer problems, but I never totally know what caused the trouble. Limewire completely destroyed my other computer. X_x But yes, my iPod is in perfect condition with the limewire songs. |
