I've always had this interest in the News and in Politics for so long. Looking at my earlier influences, I'm surprised that I turned out that way, because there weren't very many people at all around me who were even vaguely interested in it.
Growing up, there was a general apathy when it came to it. Sure, my mom voted and I came with her, but she voted for whichever Democrat was running. Now, in high school (and I felt in middle school, too) there are plenty of teachers and fellow students who are just as opinionated in the dealings of the world as I am (but then again, I'm not the most informed person in the world); in fact, some even more so. But there are still the people who really just could not care less. They think that it is much too complicated, much too dirty, and much too stressful to even bother to try comprehending. And honestly, I can't blame them. Do you care about politics? |

I'm pretty into politics, even though I hate them. It's so corrupt and stupid.
Regardless, I still stay informed. |
