Well today the newest copy of the school paper came up and one of the top stories ended up being about teenage relationships through school and how troublesome they are to some people. How annoyed others get by it and then it asked for others opinions.
I personally, found it somewhat alright. The writer wasn't very good at sticking to topic and she jumped from one idea to another. But the main idea of the story was have you seen those really annoying teenage lovebirds making out in the hall way, and no matter what they can't let go of each other. When you need to get your book from your locker and you say the awkward "uhm excuse me" when their daydreaming in each others eyes. I never found it to be a problem. But apparently it happens to a lot of people; running in to a couple making out in the hallways. Stopping in front of the classroom door to say their final good-byes and blocking everyone else's way to get in. Also they block the hall way apparently by holding hands and taking more of the hall space then necessary. A lot of people complained. So anyway, do you guys have these types of people in your school? Or do you see them anywhere in public that cause such a problem like they had to go about explaining in the school paper? I still have yet to see it, although I got stuck in a lot of freshman classes this year and their scared to do anything for some odd reason.. ![]() |

Oooh this reminds me of a story involving my Aunt. So my cousin's an 8th grader and it was his birthday so they had a pool party (he lives in Hawaii, so that's pretty easy get at the local rec center) and he invited all of his friends. Now I don't know why, but all of these kids have girlfriends and boyfriends. My aunt (his aunt, too) was in charge at the party of making sure all the kids are okay, and when she saw my cousin's friends all up on each other hugging and kissing she went berserker. She ended up seperating the boys and the girls on seperate sides of the pool.
My take on it was that she was being rather....rude. I mean, I don't think they should've been so close to each other, I mean, they're twelve for goodness sake, but it wasn't really her place to do anything. She could've told them to seperate, definitely, but putting them on opposite sides of the pool. She's not the their mother, I don't believe she should have that much leverage over them. Sooo, getting to the actual point of the topic. ![]() |
