This is a poem about several different types of poets. The fantasy lovers, the rhyme addicts, the druggies, the emo's, and myself.

Easy Poetry

"The Dark Lord approaches upon winged spectre.
His sword held high, ready for death."
These lines of mine tread close to sameness.
These often used ideas lack fame.
And I've lost motivation.

"For I refuse to be combined
With those who've left the world behind."
Rythym and Sync for these are key,
But they seem simple to me, you see.
And I've lost motivation.

"Tentacles reach from bedroom wall.
The air left undisturbed by their presence."
These drugs give me distorted epiphany.
They've destroyed my rational mind.
And I've lost motivation.

"The darkest depth of soul
Sadness fills my blackened heart."
This black reflects my false depression.
I join a group of "individuals."
And I've lost motivation.

Different forms all used before.
Originality is a fool's errand.
I crave for spiritual enlightenment,
A fabric reality I've made my own.
But I've lost motivation.
